Echo Fly Rods

Why We Carry Echo Fly Rods
Echo is based right in Vancouver, Washington — practically in our backyard — and that proximity to Pacific Northwest waters is baked into every rod they build. Founded by Tim Rajeff, one of the most accomplished casters and rod designers in the history of the sport, Echo was built on a simple premise: deliver genuine fly fishing performance without the premium price tag. Tim’s credentials speak for themselves — a World Casting Games gold medalist, a rod designer since 1980, and someone who has fished everywhere from Oregon’s coastal rivers to Alaska’s remote salmon camps to the Kola Peninsula above the Arctic Circle. That depth of experience shows up in how Echo rods cast, feel, and hold up over time. We carry Echo because they make it easier for more anglers to get on the water with quality gear — and that’s something we believe in.
Echo Fly Rod Series
Echo Base Fly Rods
The Base is Echo’s entry-level rod, and it punches well above its price point. Smooth, forgiving action makes it an ideal first fly rod for beginners, and it’s capable enough to keep experienced anglers happy on smaller water. If you’re introducing someone to fly fishing, this is one of the first rods we reach for.

Echo Carbon Fly Rods
The Carbon series sits in Echo’s mid-range and delivers a versatile, all-around action that handles a wide variety of fishing situations. A reliable workhorse for trout anglers who want a step up in performance without stepping into premium rod territory.
Echo Carbon XL Fly Rods
The Carbon XL features a longer, more relaxed action designed for delicate presentations and technical dry fly fishing. An excellent choice for anglers who spend time on spring creeks or tailwaters where accuracy and soft landings matter most.
Echo EPR Fly Rods
The EPR (Euro Nymphing Rod) is purpose-built for modern euro nymphing techniques — long, sensitive, and incredibly responsive. If you’re getting into tight-line nymphing on PNW rivers, the EPR is one of the best values in the category.
Echo Traverse Fly Rods
Built for anglers on the move, the Traverse is a four-piece travel rod that doesn’t sacrifice performance for portability. Whether you’re hiking into a backcountry lake or packing a rod for a trip, the Traverse is ready for it.

Echo Spey & Switch Fly Rods
Echo’s two-hand lineup brings Tim Rajeff’s deep expertise in Spey casting to an accessible price point. Smooth loading, well-balanced, and built for the kind of big-water steelhead and salmon fishing we have right here in the Pacific Northwest.
