Why We Carry G. Loomis Fly Rods

G Loomis Freshwater Fly Rods

G. Loomis has been building some of the finest fly rods in the world right here in Woodland, Washington — just down the road from the rivers we fish. That local heritage matters to us, but what really keeps G. Loomis on our shelves is the performance. These rods are meticulously crafted with cutting-edge materials and proprietary technologies that deliver a level of sensitivity, power, and balance that serious anglers notice immediately. Whether you’re making a delicate dry fly presentation on a technical spring creek or driving a tight loop into a headwind on a big steelhead river, there’s a G. Loomis built for the job. They’re not the least expensive rods we carry — but they’re among the most rewarding to fish.

G. Loomis Fly Rod Series

G. Loomis Asquith Fly Rods

The Asquith is G. Loomis’s flagship — built in collaboration with Shimano using their Spiral X technology for maximum power transfer and lightning-fast recovery. When you need high line speed, pinpoint accuracy, and zero compromise, the Asquith delivers. It’s one of the finest casting rods available at any price point.

G Loomis Saltwater Fly Rods

G. Loomis NRX+ Fly Rods

The NRX+ is built with Mega Modulus+ graphite and GL8 resin, making it 15% lighter than the original NRX while improving loop stability and accuracy across all casting distances. Available in two configurations — the NRX+ LP (Lite Presentation) for delicate dry fly work, and the NRX+ S for saltwater applications. A premium rod that earns its place in any serious angler’s quiver.

G. Loomis IMX-PRO V2 Fly Rods

The IMX-PRO V2 is the rod we reach for when someone wants G. Loomis performance at a more accessible price point. Built with Conduit Core technology to reduce weight without sacrificing strength, the IMX-PRO V2 tracks beautifully in the wind and handles a wide range of freshwater applications with ease. A true day-in, day-out workhorse.

G. Loomis IMX-PRO Creek Fly Rods

Short, light, and built for tight quarters, the IMX-PRO Creek series is purpose-designed for small stream fishing where a standard rod simply won’t fit. If you love exploring brushy creeks and backcountry water, this rod was made for you.

G. Loomis IMX-PRO ShortSpey Fly Rods

The IMX-PRO V2 ShortSpey brings two-handed casting performance to smaller rivers where a full Spey rod is too much stick. An excellent option for PNW anglers fishing tighter runs and smaller steelhead water.

  • What’s covered: Non-conformities in workmanship and materials for the lifetime of the original owner.
  • What’s not covered: Rods used for commercial or rental purposes are not eligible for warranty coverage.
  • IMX-PRO Ice rods: Covered by a 5-year limited warranty rather than the lifetime warranty.
