Hatch Fly Reels
Why We Carry Hatch Fly Reels

Hatch builds fly reels the way serious anglers wish all gear was built — without compromise. Made in the USA, every Hatch reel is machined from a single piece of aluminum, including the reel foot, which is integrated directly into the frame to eliminate the most common failure point on lesser reels. The result is a reel that guides and hardcore anglers describe as "bomb-proof" — capable of handling the most demanding freshwater and saltwater conditions without hesitation. We carry Hatch because when a customer needs a reel they can trust on big fish in tough conditions, Hatch is the answer. These are heirloom-quality tools built to last decades, not a season.
Hatch Fly Reel Series
Hatch Iconic Fly Reels
The Iconic is Hatch's latest and most refined reel — a more rigid design that reduces weight while increasing structural stability and improving sealing against water intrusion. The multi-disc drag system uses a stacked design that reduces startup inertia, increases stopping power, and dissipates heat effectively during long runs. Whether you're chasing steelhead on a PNW river or tarpon on the flats, the Iconic is built for it.
Hatch Finatic Fly Reels
The Finatic is Hatch's flagship series and one of the most trusted reels in fly fishing — smooth, powerful, and built to handle everything from technical trout fishing to hard-running saltwater species. Available in a range of sizes to cover single-hand, switch, and Spey applications.
Hatch Finatic Gen 2 Fly Reels
The Finatic Gen 2 refines the original with improved sealing and updated internals, delivering the same legendary Hatch performance with enhanced durability for saltwater and demanding freshwater use.
A Note on Older Hatch Models
Due to an exhaustion of components, some older Hatch products may no longer be fully serviceable. These include: Monsoon, Pulse, Typhoon, Squall, and Cyclone reels, as well as Original Tempest Pliers and any custom engraved or anodized reels. Standard anodize colors (Black, Grey, and Clear) remain available; all other colors are considered custom. If you have questions about serviceability of an older model, reach out to us and we'll help you get answers.
