Brian has over 25 years of fly-fishing experience. He started working at the shop full time in 2019 after a long career as an Executive Chef. He guides for trout, steelhead, and bass. Next year, the program will be expanded to more local warm water species. He continues to pursue saltwater species both big and small and is always willing to share information so others can be successful. He has years of teaching experience and enjoys introducing people to the sport of fly fishing through classes, guide trips and corporate events.
When asked why fly fishing?
“Nothing is more satisfying than to teach or guide someone into their first fish on the fly or their fish of a lifetime. I love to travel the world and introduce people to the different places and cultures that fly fishing can take them to. Whether it be trout, bass, steelhead, bonefish, permit or sailfish, it is amazing what one can catch on a fly rod.”
Brian is constantly learning and adapting new techniques to help make his clients better anglers. He will be working on setting up hosted trips for this upcoming year both locally and abroad.
