Why We Carry Redington Fly Reels

Redington Fly Fishing Reel

Redington approaches fly fishing from a different angle than most brands — and that's exactly why we carry them. Their mission is to make the sport more accessible, more intuitive, and more welcoming to anglers at every level, without cutting corners on performance. Their reel lineup reflects that same philosophy: functional, reliable, and priced to make quality accessible, whether you're rigging up for your first day on a PNW trout stream or chasing big saltwater species on the flats. We carry Redington because fly fishing should be for everyone, and the right reel at the right price makes that possible. Learn more about why we carry Redington →

Redington Fly Reel Series

Redington Zero Fly Reel

The Zero is exactly what its name suggests — an ultralight reel engineered to disappear on your rod. Built for small stream and technical dry fly fishing where every gram matters, the Zero pairs perfectly with lighter line weights and slower-action rods. A favorite for anglers who want to feel every subtle take without the weight of a heavier reel getting in the way.

Redington Rise Fly Reel

The Rise is Redington's versatile mid-range freshwater reel — smooth, reliable, and built to handle the full range of trout and light steelhead fishing. A clean large-arbor design with a solid drag system makes it a dependable everyday reel that won't let you down when a fish decides to run.

Redington Ace Fly Reel

The Ace is Redington's entry-level large-arbor reel, designed to get anglers on the water with quality gear at an approachable price. Smooth drag, solid construction, and a clean look — a natural match for the Redington Crosswater and Classic Trout rod series.

Redington Classic Trout Reel

A nod to traditional reel design with modern reliability. The Classic Trout pairs beautifully with fiberglass and slower-action rods, offering a click-and-pawl feel that resonates with anglers who appreciate the heritage of the sport. Clean, simple, and deeply satisfying to fish.

Redington Grande Fly Reel

The Grande steps up in size and backing capacity for larger freshwater species — steelhead, salmon, and big trout on big water. A smooth, powerful drag in a reel that's built to handle the demands of PNW rivers without adding unnecessary bulk to your setup.

Redington Behemoth Fly Reel

The Behemoth is Redington's workhorse large-arbor reel, built for anglers who need serious backing capacity and drag performance at a price that doesn't require a second mortgage. A go-to choice for steelhead, salmon, and crossover saltwater use where reliability matters more than flash.

Redington Predator Saltwater Reel

Built specifically for the salt, the Predator features a fully sealed drag system designed to stand up to the corrosive effects of saltwater and sand. Sized for big-game species, it delivers the stopping power and backing capacity you need when a fish decides to make a serious run.

Redington Big Game Reel

The Big Game is Redington's top-end saltwater and large-arbor freshwater reel — built for the biggest fish in the most demanding conditions. When the stakes are high and you need a reel that won't quit, the Big Game is the answer.

Redington Tilt Euro Reel

Purpose-built for euro nymphing, the Tilt features an offset spool design that keeps the reel out of the way during the tight-line techniques that euro nymphing demands. A specialized tool for a specialized technique — and one of the more thoughtful reel designs on the market for that style of fishing.
