Tie PMD Patterns with One of the Shop’s Best Trout Tyers
Pale Morning Duns (PMDs) are one of the most prolific and consistent summer hatches in the Pacific Northwest — and trout absolutely love to eat them. Get ready for the west side trout opener with Zack as he walks you through his favorite proven PMD patterns and the techniques behind them. This class is geared toward intermediate tyers: a basic understanding of general fly tying is recommended, but expertise is not required. If you’re comfortable securing thread to a hook, you’re ready to learn from one of the shop’s most prolific trout fly tyers.
